Accounts / Administration Officer

Permanent, part-time position - 3 days a week
Work from home, except for onboarding done in Maitland office
All-rounder role, covering both accounts and admin duties

Verve Partners is proudly working with a respected and successful organisation who provides electrical engineering consulting services. They are now on the lookout for an Accounts and Administration Officer to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis working completely from home.  

You will be responsible for: 

  • Carrying out accounts payable and receivable functions  
  • Processing payroll for staff including timesheet management  
  • Preparing and collating reports  
  • Administration support for projects  
  • Liaising with both internal and external stakeholders  

You will have:  

  • Prior experience in a similar environment doing accounts and admin  
  • Proactive, flexible approach and a strong problem-solving ability  
  • Strong systems knowledge including the MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and Xero 
  • Happy to work autonomously, but willing to collaborate when required 
  • Demonstrated process improvement abilities with experience in identifying inefficiencies, implementing innovative solutions 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal  
  • Reliable and honest
