Assistant/Junior Accountant

We at Verve Partners are excited to be working with Dywidag to recruit an Assistant Accountant for their Cardiff office. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in accounting within a supportive and collaborative environment. 

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity. 

 You’ll be responsible for: 

• Processing accounts payable invoices 
• Accounts receivable invoicing (no debt collection required) 
• Reconciling supplier accounts and bank reconciliation 
• Liaising with both suppliers and creditors 
• Carrying out additional administration and finance duties as required by the business 

  Essentially, You’ll be: 

• Working towards or achieved a bachelor’s degree in business or commerce with an accounting major 
• Highly accurate data entry skills and attention to detail  
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to speak with a wide range of stakeholders 
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work with conflicting priorities  
• Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
• Ability to work in a cohesive team environment to competing demands
