Conveyancing Paralegal

Manage conveyancing matters from commencement to completion in a busy, reputable law firm in the suburbs of Newcastle.

Our client is an established legal firm, with a busy conveyancing practice, based in the suburbs of Newcastle. Comprised of several major areas of law, the firm has a collaborative and non-hierarchical culture, where support staff are respected, consulted, and valued.
  
Working alongside a Licenced Conveyancer and team of Property Solicitors, you will work on a range of residential and commercial conveyancing matters.  
  
This is a permanent, full-time position.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Liaising with clients, financiers, real estate agents and other stakeholders
• Processing electronic transactions including PEXA and Revenue NSW
• Preparing routine documents and conducting searches
• Calculating settlement figures
• Assisting the wider property team

Essentially you’ll have:  
  
This role will suit a conveyancing professional who is passionate about delivering a friendly, supportive and seamless conveyancing service. There is some scope to shape the role to reflect the experience and ambition of the successful candidate, but we are ideally seeking:

• 3+ years’ experience in conveyancing support and strong knowledge of PEXA
• Excellent organisation and time management skills
• High attention to detail
• Great communication skills with the ability to build strong internal and external relationships
