Electrical Planner:

This is a newly created role for an Electrical Planner Australia’s preferred OEM for electrical systems. We are looking for a motivated individual to join their established and successful team who can contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge electrical projects core industry sectors.

About the Role:

As an Electrical Planner, you will be responsible for planning the delivery of multiple and complex electrical projects. You’ll work with the project delivery teams to deliver workable schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure that all work aligns with technical specifications and safety standards. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and site teams to deliver successful projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Oversee procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing and delivery of materials.
  • Monitor project milestones, adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate potential project delays.
  • Support quality assurance, commissioning, and testing to ensure smooth project handover.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in planning and managing large-scale electrical projects.
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation requirements.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience using tools like MS Project or Primavera.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
