About the Role
You’ll play a pivotal role in driving NovaCare’s digital finance transformation, leading the design and implementation of key systems, including an aged care claiming platform, accounts payable automation, and improved integration between financial and care management systems.
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll lead multiple concurrent projects with autonomy, backed by a collaborative leadership team and a shared purpose to enhance care delivery through operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of finance-related projects, from planning to rollout and performance review.
- Lead teams and vendors through major system enhancements and integrations.
- Build strong business rules, governance frameworks, and clear documentation to futureproof processes.
- Identify gaps, propose improvements, and actively present new ideas to senior stakeholders.
- Drive system interoperability and process efficiency through intelligent integration.
- Ensure compliance with aged care funding and reporting standards.
- Oversee data migration, system testing, stakeholder training, and change management. Demonstrated change management skills will be highly regarded.
What You Bring
- Proven success in Project Management within finance system transformations.
- A strong documentation background and ability to define clear and effective business rules.
- Confidence and capability to work autonomously and take initiative.
- Experience fostering collaboration between internal teams, vendors, and external consultants.
- A passion for solving system inefficiencies and linking platforms to improve performance.
- Degree-qualified in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
- Ideally, experience in aged care, healthcare or not-for-profit sectors.
- Exceptional communication skills with all stakeholders.
- Bonus: Agile delivery experience and understanding of government aged care reforms.
