Position Overview:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their product range. You will be responsible for leading and running your own projects, collaborating with a dedicated drafting and delivery team to ensure the successful execution of innovative solutions. Responsibilities:  

  • Lead and manage your own projects from conceptualization to delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative and multidisciplinary product designs.
  • Utilize your technical expertise in mechanical design to overcome challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to the drafting and delivery team.
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.

 Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably within a global OEM environment.
  • Proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
