Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer or Site Engineer to join a National Construction firm, to work out of their newly created Port Macquarie office

Verve Partners are proud to be partnering with TVN On-Country to secure a Project Engineer/ CA for their newly expanded operations in Port Macquarie.

With already established operations in Vic, QLD, SA, Tas and NSW, this is an excellent opportunity for a Project Engineer/ CA to join a growing organisation and forge a career path towards Project Manager or Senior Project Manager in the near future. 

As the Project Engineer you will be working on Commercial Building projects across NSW, such as Education, Defence, Industrial & Hospitality, valued from $2M to $20M

Key Responsibilities, 

Your responsibilities will be reflective of the project stages, however, include but not limited to, 

• Working closely with the Project Manager to develop and maintain project programs and schedules. 
• Support the pre-contracts team to develop tender submissions.
• Manage stakeholder relationships including authorities, subcontractors and internal team members
• Assist with the management of Contracts, including progress claims, variations & RFI’s
• Support the management and monitoring of WHS practices/ policies.
• Provide weekly/ monthly reporting on project status, including forecasts and timelines
• Supporting on-site personnel with general administration and documentation as required. 

 
About you; 

• Demonstrated knowledge working on Construction projects in a similar capacity
• Relevant qualifications including Bachelor of Construction Management or Project Management or Civil Engineering. 
• Proficient in MS office suite, particularly MS project
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a positive team work ethic
• Ability to travel as required to sites across NSW
