Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full project lifecycle: design, planning, construction, QA, and handover
  • Ensure delivery aligns with contract documents, budget, timeline, and compliance frameworks
  • Lead progress tracking, risk mitigation, cost forecasting, and client reporting
  • Manage contract administration, including subcontracts, purchase orders, and progress claims
  • Drive team performance, motivate staff, and resolve issues proactively
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and site managers to ensure communication and cohesion
  • Monitor HSE compliance, conduct site audits, and support the implementation of HSE plans
  • Identify and action continuous improvement initiatives across safety, systems, and performance
  • Contribute to bid submissions and new business opportunities alongside the senior leadership team

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in project/contract management roles
  • Relevant tertiary or trade qualifications in Building, Construction, or Engineering
  • Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex site environments
  • Strong understanding of contract law, National Construction Code, SOPA, and safe work practices
  • High-level planning, scheduling, and reporting capabilities (short and long term)
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and dispute resolution skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook); CAD knowledge advantageous
  • Professional, self-driven, and capable of handling pressure with a positive and mature outlook
  • Commitment to leadership, mentoring, and delivering high-performance outcomes
