Assist with the design, development and maintenance of MS Power Platform

Position Title: Systems Assistant
Reporting To: Systems Manager
Role Summary The Systems Assistant is responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of critical system functions. The role involves assisting with system development, configuration, testing, stakeholder training, and project delivery while fostering collaboration and maintaining professional standards.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Development and Analysis

  • Assist in preparing functional and technical documentation.
  • Support effective system development by analyzing business needs.

Solution Configuration, Testing, and Implementation

  • Help configure and implement high-quality system solutions.
  • Minimize defects and provide end-user support.

Stakeholder Engagement and Training

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements.
  • Deliver training sessions for configured solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.

Collaboration, Professionalism, and Culture

  • Work collaboratively within the team to achieve shared goals.
  • Uphold professional standards and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Project Delivery

  • Assist in delivering projects within agreed timelines.
  • Produce project documentation and adhere to delivery methodologies.

Technical Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps.
  • Enhance the functionality of ERP systems and maintain Data verse and SharePoint lists.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of Power Automate and related workflows.
  • Work with external data sources and APIs to develop new features.
  • Ensure systems are robust, reliable, and meet quality standards.
  • Continuously explore and implement new technologies to improve efficiency.

Safety, Environment, and Quality

  • Actively participate in safety, environmental, and quality compliance activities.
  • Promote a safety-first workplace culture.
  • Contribute to risk management and hazard identification in assigned tasks.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of CRM workflows, UI customizations, and configuration.
  • Experience or coursework in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
  • Familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Knowledge of data applications and the ability to design technical solutions.
