Newcastle Weighing Services (NWS) is looking for an experienced IT project manager to oversee our software and hardware implementation projects and manage a talented IT team.
About the Role

• Lead a team of 8 staff to deliver IT projects in line with customer needs
• Deliver end-to-end IT projects – from data analysis and design through to installation and handover.
• Oversee the implementation of both software solutions and hardware infrastructure (traffic lights, boom gates, cabling, wiring, etc).
• Act as the key point of contact for stakeholders, building strong relationships with customers and owners.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience managing IT/software/hardware projects (3–4 at a time).
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Ability to analyse business data and map processes into IT solutions.
• Thick-skinned, resilient, and confident in dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong communicator – able to present well and build customer trust.
• Hands-on background in technical delivery or implementation.
