About the Role
Join Coal LSL as a Payroll Officer and take ownership of end-to-end payroll.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring payroll is processed accurately, efficiently, and on time, while supporting the broader Finance team.
Key responsibilities:

  • End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing
  • Maintain payroll data integrity across systems
  • Process compliance obligations (STP, superannuation, banking files)
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and reporting
  • Act as a key payroll SME across the business
  • Contribute to system improvements and process enhancements

About You
You’re a detail-driven payroll professional who enjoys ownership and working in a collaborative environment.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in end-to-end payroll
  • Experience with compliance lodgements (super, STP, TFN, etc.)
  • Experience using iChris/Chris21
  • Solid experience with the Microsoft Office suite
  • High attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills
