Verve Partners is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join the growing ASV team in Newcastle.
 
About the Role
This is a hands-on finance support role working across accounts receivable, accounts payable and general accounting duties. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play an important part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of finance processes while working closely with internal teams, suppliers and customers.
This opportunity is suited to someone seeking a full-time, office-based position in Newcastle.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Raise and issue customer invoices when required
  • Monitor debtor balances and follow up outstanding accounts
  • Allocate receipts and reconcile customer accounts
  • Manage credit applications and maintain customer records
  • Maintain supplier records and process supplier credit applications
  • Investigate and resolve supplier queries
  • Assist with the implementation of invoice scanning processes
  • Support bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end processes
  • Provide reporting support and ad hoc finance administration assistance

About You

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Administrator, Finance Administrator or similar role 
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
  • Experience using ERP systems, with NetSuite experience highly regarded
  • High level of accuracy and exceptional attention to detail 
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to liaise across all levels of the business
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
