The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Consultant to join a high-performing team that values maximising sales opportunities. Reporting into the Head of Sales and collaborating with Project and Construction Managers, Estimators, the Marketing team, and building lasting relationships with clients and suppliers.
You’ll be supported by experienced leadership and provided with a strong flow of qualified sales leads, allowing you to focus on what you do best — building relationships and converting opportunities into successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Build genuine client relationships while managing and converting high-quality sales enquiries
- Deliver a seamless customer experience through proactive communication from initial enquiry to contract stage
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients, suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Conduct engaging appointments and personalised client consultations
- Collaborate closely with drafting, estimating, and construction teams to achieve outstanding client outcomes
- Contribute ideas and insights to support business growth, sales performance, and customer experience initiatives
- Stay ahead of market trends, product knowledge and industry developments within residential construction
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a motivated and customer-focused sales professional with previous experience in residential construction sales.
You will also possess:
- Previous experience as a Sales Consultant within the construction or building industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Advanced written and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Self-motivation and a proactive attitude
- Genuine care and commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences
