Seasoned engineering recruiter Bronwyn Gladstone has joined the Verve Partners team to drive our engineering desk forward.
Engineering is a strong employer in the Hunter Region, and our latest team member and specialist, Bronwyn Gladstone, brings the experience, knowledge and skills we need to drive further vibrancy for clients, candidates and the industry.
Winning the title of our first new hire for 2025, Bronwyn will be heading the engineering desk, replacing her forerunner, Lotte Baker.
A seasoned recruiter and driven, energetic leader, Bronwyn has enjoyed over 15 years of career success in the technical recruitment space both here in Australia, including Sydney and Melbourne, and over in the UK.
Her industry, market and role knowledge, combined with her ability to build collaborative relationships and dig deep to understand the needs of both her clients and candidates, make her a real asset—and the perfect fit for our team.
Bronwyn began her recruitment career in site-based construction before moving into the client side and project management.
Her focus then shifted over to engineering and operations, in particular manufacturing operations, such as fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs). In this commercial, commerce and industrial space, she’s recruited across both permanent and contract roles.
Before her many years in recruitment, Bronwyn worked in the arts and then studied psychology. This background really sets her up to effectively assess candidates, build relationships and make insightful connections.
Bronwyn was drawn to engineering and technical recruiting because of its structured nature; the requirements for success are often well-defined.
“What makes a good candidate in these industries is quite specific,” she explains. “It’s about more than just qualifications. It’s the combination of technical expertise, problem-solving ability and a mindset that thrives in fast-paced, detail-oriented environments.”

Over the next six months, Bronwyn will be establishing herself as the point of contact for engineering and operations across the Newcastle and Hunter region and continuing to build on our existing networks and relationships.
