Accounts Officer

Are you an Accounts Payable & Receivable Officer ready to take on a new challenge?

Verve Partners is working with a company that specialises in the commercial, industrial, mining and infrastructure sectors internationally. Based in their office located in the suburbs of Newcastle, our client is looking for their next Accounts Payable and Receivable Officer to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. 

You’ll be responsible for:

• Processing accounts payable invoices
• Accounts receivable invoicing (no debt collection required)
• Reconciling supplier accounts and bank reconciliation
• Liaising with both suppliers and creditors
• Carrying out additional administration and finance duties as required by the business

Essentially you’ll have:

• Experience working in an accounts all-rounder position
• Highly accurate data entry skills and attention to detail 
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak with a wide range of stakeholders
• A proactive and positive approach 
• Strong with Excel and confident with picking up and navigating systems
