Verve Partners is proud to partner with a national business based in Morisset, NSW, seeking a skilled Finance Officer to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a permanent role with a company committed to excellence and growth.

As the Finance Officer, you will play a vital role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. Your responsibilities will include processing payroll, managing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys making a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Process payroll accurately and efficiently, including Single-Touch Payroll submissions.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and reconciliations.
Prepare and issue client invoices, capturing payroll and project expenses.
Reconcile PAYG, superannuation, and monthly financial transactions.
Maintain the MYOB system and assist with month-end financial reporting.
Support the Finance Manager with various administrative and financial tasks.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in finance administration, including MYOB and payroll processing.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and time management skills.
A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently.
