Our client is seeking a proactive and committed HSEQ Coordinator to support their growing portfolio of regional projects based in the Central West. This is a pivotal role for someone who is passionate about safety and quality, enjoys working closely with site teams, and is eager to contribute to a business that values integrity, innovation, and continuous improvement.

About the Role

As a HSEQ Coordinator working across their regional project sites, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and coordination of operational Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) systems.

Working closely with site teams and the leadership team, you’ll ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety-first culture.

This is a hands-on, regionally focused role ideal for someone who enjoys travel, site team engagement, and varied work across multiple projects. You’ll coordinate safety documentation, manage system data, assist with audits and reporting, and provide critical on-the-ground HSEQ support to the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate HSEQ documentation and compliance across regional sites
  • Support rollout of project-specific HSEQ systems and tools
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and safety committee meetings
  • Monitor contractor licences, insurances, and SWMS compliance
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and performance data
  • Analyse audit/incident data and drive learnings across teams
  • Deliver toolbox talks and site-level safety briefings
  • Provide user support for Procore and related platforms
  • Liaise with clients, regulators, and subcontractors on HSEQ matters
  • Travel regularly to regional sites to deliver in-person support

About You

You’re a safety-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You enjoy working collaboratively, and you’re passionate about fostering a proactive, positive safety culture. Your strong communication and organisational skills make you a go-to resource for site teams.

What You Bring

  • Certificate IV in WHS (or currently studying)
  • Valid Driver’s Licence – regional travel is a must
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of HSEQ platforms (Procore, One Breadcrumb)
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail, with excellent time management
  • Ability to multi-task and problem-solve independently
  • A team-focused attitude and commitment to continuous improvement
