Working alongside experienced advisers, you’ll play a key role in guiding clients through their lending journey ensuring every application is accurate, compliant, and progresses smoothly through to settlement.

The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and highly regarded finance and property advisory business, is seeking a Mortgage Broking Support Officer to join their collaborative team.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with Mortgage Brokers, Financial Advisers and internal stakeholders to manage clients applications end-to-end.
You’ll be the engine room behind the process, keeping communication flowing, documentation precise, and clients informed every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review and submit loan applications with accuracy and attention to compliance
  • Manage applications through to settlement, liaising with lenders and key stakeholders
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, providing updates and responding to enquiries
  • Ensure all client files and CRM records are complete, accurate and up to date
  • Verify financial information including income, liabilities and supporting documentation
  • Coordinate with third parties such as real estate agents, solicitors and lenders
  • Assist with client onboarding, document signing and general administrative support
  • Contribute to team discussions and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

  • Experience in a supportive role within a mortgage broking, lending or financial service environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and high-level data entry accuracy
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and improve processes
  • Confidence working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • A team-first attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively
  • Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (desirable but not essential)
