Project Manager – Client side

Client-Side Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager required for local project management firm in Newcastle

Verve Partners are working with a leading Client-Side organisation to find an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to join their Commercial Construction team in Newcastle. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early on in their career to work with an experienced Project Manager and supportive team to make a strong mark in the Client-Side sector. 

Key Responsibilities
Your main duties and responsibilities will vary depending on the stage of project, which you are working on, however, as a brief overview, 

• Reporting through to the Project Manager you will be involved in end-end project management duties 
• Developing project plans and risk assessments for new works 
• Liasion with Building contractors and relevant authorities during the project delivery phase to ensure project expectations are met 
• Site visits to oversee development of works 
• Managing in-house project documentations including reporting on updates for client
• Ensure the project is completed to a high quality prior to handover.

About you
To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills & experience.

• Demonstrated capacity working on Commercial or Residential projects. 
• Bachelor of Construction Management or Civil Engineering 
• Demonstrated capacity working in an end-end Project management role
• Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to problem solve 
• Ability to develop internal and external working relationships 
• Knowledge of MS office suite, Procore or other Construction Management programs
