Scooping ice creams at Kiwi Waffle & Cone in Warners Bay.
What's your journey to Verve Partners?
I started working in administration in 2013 after I finished school and gained a Business Administration Traineeship. One of my favourite parts was HR and recruitment – this is what drew me to Verve Partners.
What are your hobbies/favourite activities outside of work?
I'm a crazy dog lady, so taking my pup for walks through the bush is a regular activity. I'm also part of a social netball team.
What do you like best about your work?
The level of engagement and positive communication from all levels of staff here. There’s a fantastic energy where everyone gets involved in discussions and is genuinely heard by the leadership.
What does your day-to-day role involve?
No two days have been the same! One moment I can be managing inboxes and ensuring everyone is well-caffeinated; the next, updating databases and assisting the executives with setting up events.
What’s your favourite Newcastle Haunt?
The Autumn Rooms on Darby. Hands down, they make the best coffee in Newcastle!
Email, phone or in-person?
Phone.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Hopefully becoming a talent specialist or recruiter with Verve Partners.
