Earthing Specialist Engineers

Exciting opportunities for experienced Senior & Principal Electrical Engineers with Earthing specialisms in Newcastle

Verve Partners are proudly partnering with a highly regarded national consultancy delivering complex, high-quality engineering solutions.   
 
As a key member of the senior engineering team, you’ll ensure projects are delivered to the highest quality, exceeding client expectations. You’ll directly support Directors, take the lead on significant projects, and expand your knowledge from industry leaders. You’ll also work on major infrastructure projects across Australasia with Tier 1 contractors and asset owners, within a collaborative, high-performing, inclusive team. These opportunities are available for Newcastle, Melbourne & Perth locations.   
 
In This Role, You Will

• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Lead projects from scoping to delivery
• Manage quality, budget, and schedule targets
• Prepare/review/approve designs & technical docs
• Provide expert input in HV earthing system analysis & reporting (power systems desirable)
• Oversee HV earthing testing (soil resistivity, fall of potential, current injection)
• Use CDEGS (PTW/ETAP desirable)
• Coordinate project teams to meet deadlines & standards
• Mentor junior engineers (technical + commercial)
• Manage budgets, forecasting & risks
• Contribute to business improvement & CPD (training budget + 4 CPD days/year)

What You’ll Bring

• 5-10 years+ in engineering project delivery
• Proven HV Earthing expertise—analysis & site testing
• High proficiency in CDEGS (preferred)
• HV power systems experience (PTW, ETAP) desirable
• Australian-recognised Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
• CPEng (or eligible)
• Right to work in Australia
• Strong client relationship skills
• Proven budget & forecasting ability
• Leadership skills and passion for mentoring
