Estimator

Verve Partners are working with a leading organisation, with branches across NSW, to secure a new team member for their established Estimating team. 

This is an exceptional opportunity for an Estimator with 4+ years Commercial Estimating experience to be mentored by the Head Estimator across a portfolio of Education, Healthcare, Aged Care, Commercial & Hospitality.

Acting in the Estimator capacity, you will be reporting through to the Estimating Manager who will be a fantastic mentor and daily responsibilities will include but not limited to,

• Preparing quotes and tender submissions for Commercial projects 
• Developing scope of works and project 
• Liaison with Subcontractors and suppliers for pricing information
• Site inspections and liaison with clients to further establish relationship, project information 
• Working closely with Project Managers during project on pricing and variations as required 
• Developing construction project plan & budgets with Director/ Project Manager

About you:

To be successful within this role, you will need to have demonstrated knowledge and experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator. You will also have the following skills and qualifications, 

• Bachelor of Construction Management or equivalent 
• Knowledge of pricing projects over $2M up to $15M
• Ideally local knowledge of subcontractors and suppliers 
• Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal 
• Ability to work in a team environment 
• Positive work ethic
