The Opportunity
Our client is a highly respected commercial builder with a proven track record of delivering quality projects across NSW. With a healthy pipeline of upcoming work in the lower North Shore, they’re looking to appoint an experienced General Foreman to play a key role in successfully delivering complex commercial developments.
This is a hands-on leadership position where you’ll drive day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, maintain programme milestones and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to an exceptional standard.
Working closely with senior project leadership, you’ll have the autonomy to lead site activities while being supported by an experienced and collaborative delivery team.

About You
To be successful in this role you’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a General Foreman, Foreman or Site Supervisor delivering commercial construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, structural works and finishes.
• Proven ability to lead multiple trades and subcontractors simultaneously.
• Excellent understanding of WHS legislation, QA processes and site compliance.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.

Your Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all daily site operations.
• Manage subcontractors, labour, plant and material resources.
• Drive construction programmes and short-term look-ahead planning.
• Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate structural, services and finishing trades.
• Maintain strong safety, environmental and quality compliance across site.
• Manage defects, inspections and subcontractor sign-off.
• Forecast material requirements and coordinate procurement to maintain project momentum.
• Build strong working relationships with project teams, consultants and subcontractors.
