Verve Partners are proud to be working with a long-standing client, a highly regarded Newcastle consultancy known for delivering quality technical outcomes across a loyal client base.

Due to continued demand and growth, they are seeking a Principal Acoustic Consultant to step into a Management position and lead their team, playing a key role in shaping the future of the discipline locally.

Work across a diverse portfolio including major transport infrastructure, environmental planning approvals, construction projects, and large-scale noise treatment programs across NSW.

This is a genuine leadership opportunity offering autonomy, stability, and the ability to influence both technical delivery and commercial outcomes.

In this role, you will:

Lead the delivery of acoustics projects from proposal through to completion
Provide technical oversight, ensuring high-quality outputs and client satisfaction
Manage project performance including budgets, timelines and resource planning
Mentor and develop a growing team, supporting capability and career progression
Strengthen client relationships and contribute to ongoing business growth
Take ownership of departmental performance, including financial outcomes
Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and delivery standards

You will bring:

Experience in acoustics consulting or related technical project delivery
Demonstrated leadership or team mentoring capability
Strong client engagement and communication skills
Commercial awareness across project delivery (budgets, timelines, outcomes)
Familiarity with NSW environmental frameworks (desirable)
Relevant tertiary qualification (engineering, physics, environmental science or similar)
