Site Foreman – Luxury Residential

The Opportunity
Beach Blue Build is an established luxury residential builder delivering highly detailed, architecturally designed homes across Sydney and now Newcastle.
With a growing Newcastle pipeline, Beach Blue is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to take ownership of a luxury residential project in Merewether and become an important part of the company’s long-term Newcastle growth.
This is not volume residential construction. Beach Blue delivers bespoke homes where quality, craftsmanship and architectural detail matter.
The Role
Reporting to the Director and Project Manager, you will take day-to-day ownership of the site, with responsibility for:

• Driving subcontractors and trades
• Managing the construction programme and sequencing
• Maintaining exceptional quality and finishes
• Planning ahead and identifying issues early
• Coordinating suppliers, consultants and subcontractors
• Maintaining site safety and organisation
• Updating programmes and site information
• Communicating regularly with the Project Manager and Director
• Keeping the project moving and ensuring commitments are delivered

You will be supported by an established Project Management, Contracts Administration, estimating and construction team, allowing you to focus on running the site and delivering the project.

About You
We are looking for someone who takes genuine ownership of their site and brings:

• Site Foreman experience within high-end residential construction
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing and premium finishes
• Carpentry trade background, highly regarded
• Strong subcontractor and trade management skills
• Excellent programming and construction sequencing knowledge
• Strong communication and administration skills
• Experience using construction management software – Buildertrend highly desirable
• A reliable, accountable and proactive approach
• The confidence to operate autonomously and make decisions on site
