We’re currently supporting a global engineering leader recognised for its innovative technical services and systems. Their solutions support some of the world’s most complex construction projects — from bridges and tunnels through to high-rise structures and critical civil infrastructure.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales & Service Representative to join their team in the Newcastle/Hunter region. In this role, you’ll combine your technical knowledge and commercial acumen to deliver smart solutions, strengthen customer partnerships, and drive new business growth.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring major projects across NSW are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What you’ll be doing

  • Grow and manage relationships with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders, being the voice and face of the business.
  • Lead by example, encouraging a customer-centric approach to continually add value to their clients businesses.
  • Identify new project opportunities and deliver tailored sales solutions.
  • Prepare tenders, quotes and technically detailed proposals.
  • Provide on-site technical support, product demonstrations and troubleshooting.
  • Undertake research projects for potential new customers
  • Liaise with supply chain, logistics and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery and products are performing to expectations.

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in technical sales, business development or account management in construction, civil or geotechnical sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of geotechnical systems, reinforcement, anchoring or post-tensioning applications.
  • Understanding of standards and compliance frameworks (ISO, WHS, quality management, safety and environmental systems).
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.
  • Proven track record preparing and presenting tenders and technical proposals.
  • Engineering or construction qualification (civil/geotechnical preferred, but not essential with strong experience).
  • Excellent communication skills and a solutions-focused, hands-on approach.
  • Experience of Navision Software Solutions a bonus.
